The City Lights Gallery set me up with a nice booth at the 2015 Henderson ArtFest, Mother's Day weekend.  I talked with many past customers and they were still very happy with their purchases. The big sellers this show were the resin on brass necklaces and earrings.

We took a winter trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. I showed my jewelry at the Gilbert Art Walk on February 7. It was 80 degrees and a ton of people came by the booth. There was a lot of interest in the resin cuffs and new wire wrapped rings.

This is a votive scented candle embellished with a Friendly Plastic frame.  I printed the text onto a piece of clear plastic transparency film.  The word was cut out and glued to the candle jar.  The shapes needed for the frame were cut from strips of Friendly Plastic.  I used a heat gun to fuse each piece onto the jar. As the plastic began to melt it followed the form of the curve on the jar and the plastic was added one piece at a time to complete the frame.

I decided to look for ways to put my art technique into areas other than jewelry.  These kitchen spoons use traditional wire wrapping combined with Friendly Plastic. The wire was shaped and placed on the spoon. A piece of each color of plastic was cut and melted over the wire and onto the spoon with a heat gun.

We just finished the Eighth annual Seaview Manor Bazaar. It was great fun. Earrings were the big item for people this year.

I have been working on some upscale light weight earrings. These are Friendly Plastic fused onto one inch silver drop earring bases.

Jewelry in San Francisco

I have always loved San Francisco. A funky gallery called WonderlandSF downtown is featuring my jewelry. There will be trips to the city in my future.

Resin on Gold Hinged Bracelet

The New York Jewelry Mart had just the perfect gold hinged bracelet base for a project. A design was created with multiple Friendly Plastic colors. The piece was then heated and fused to the gold.
